Chester Hammer Jr., son of Chester Hammer Sr and Mae Ruth Scraper was born July 15, 1956 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 17, 2017 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 2 days.

He loved the outdoors, making people laugh and especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mildred Ward.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his son: Erin Hammer and wife Lana of Collinsville, three grandchildren; Kelsey Hammer, Breydon Hammer and Cash Hammer. Siblings; Lawrence Hammer and wife Rose of Hulbert, Dave Hammer of Westville, Lou Ann Collins and husband Bill of Stilwell, Susie Ann Underwood and husband Ted of Bristow, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Graveside services were held Monday, January 23, 2017 at Old Green Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma with Brother Sampson Leach officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culve rFuneral Home, Stilwell.
