George D. “Foof” Fourkiller Jr., 59, born October 13, 1961 in the Peavine Community, passed away October 25, 2020 in his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Foof is survived by: his three loving children, son Kyle Fourkiller of Stilwell, Oklahoma daughters Candice Richards and Autumn Fourkiller of Colcord and Stilwell, Oklahoma; grandchildren Kaelee and Kathrynne Fourkiller, and Leah Richards; brothers David (Bub) Pruitt, Jack Fourkiller and wife Diane, Will Fourkiller and wife Kayla; sisters Rita Bunch, Diane England, Clara (Nese) Bighorse and husband Mark, Michelle Kee and husband Norman, Melissa Turman and husband Thad, and many nieces and nephews.

Foof was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edith and George D. Fourkiller, infant brother Grant Fourkiller, son-in-law Brazen Richards, brother-in-law Robert Bunch, and sister-in-law Sandy Pruitt.

Foof was a born-storyteller and was a stranger to no one. He spent his life in and around Peavine, but had friends near and far, and made them wherever he went. He attended Stilwell High School, Northeastern State University, and The School of Hard Knocks, and aced every scholastic endeavor he put his mind to. To his children, he leaves a love for family, food, laughter, and a good story.

Foof’s energy was impossible to resist and the memories that he left his many loved ones and friends with will be passed down for ages, at least. He was excellent card player, a master carpenter, and a lover of anything that made him laugh. He filled any room he was in, and his larger than life presence and humor will be greatly missed. He was a one-of-a-kind father, friend, man, and the finest picker to ever play the blues.

Graveside Service was held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Shell Cemetery, Peavine, OK
