Steven Ray Dodd passed from this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at his home in Stillwater, Oklahoma at the age of 60.

He had been battling cancer for the past couple of years, bus was always in good spirits. Steve loved to tell jokes, like his dad, and always had you laughing. Steve was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on March9, 1960 to Deloyd and June (Anderson) Dodd. He graduated from Watts High School in Watts, Oklahoma in 1978. He always loved running his own business and talking to people. He laid carpet and tile for many years and had many friends everywhere he went. He was very active and used his talent throughout his house. Steve played the drums for many hears and loved rock music. It was not unusual to walk past his house and hear the music from the street.

Survivors include his three children, Steven, Kevin, and Shiloh, and their mother Heather; his mother, June of Watts, Oklahoma; four brothers, Jeff Dodd of Watts, Oklahoma, Greg Dodd and wife Jenny of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Doug Dodd of Watts, Oklahoma, and Brad Dodd and wife Summer of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two sisters, Rebecca and husband Charles of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Jennifer and husband Craig of Southwest City, Missouri; one aunt, Eveline of Watts, Oklahoma; two uncles, Robert and Aunt Kay if Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Delbert and Aunt Jerri; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2013; two grandmothers that he was very close to, grandma Anderson in 2006, and grandma Dodd in 2000.

Steven will lie in state at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater from 3PM to 5PM for those who would like to pay their respects to him.

Graveside services will follow at Peaceful Grove Cemetery in Watts, Oklahoma on Tuesday, June 30, 2020
