Funeral services, for Charles L. Starr were held today (Thursday) in the Roberts Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Oak Grove cemetery. Starr, who was born June 29, 1879 in Tahlequah, died 1 Tuesday, August 7 at his home. Survivors include: the widow, Mrs Mary Starr, of the home; six daughters, Mrs Cherry Dixon Of Jay, Mrs Kaleetah Ford of Muskogee, Mrs Beulah Adamson of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs Sammie Heard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Miss Ruth Starr and Mrs Alene Curtis, both of Tulsa; one son, Charles, also of Tulsa; and one step-daughter, Mrs Weita Adair of Stilwell.
