Aaron Parris
December 19, 1916-August 21, 2008
Aaron Parris son of George Washington and Ella (Scott) Parris was born December 19, 1916 in Chance, Oklahoma and departed this life on August 21, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 28 days.
Aaron worked for Allen Canning Company for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 36 years, Mary Hogner Parris, his parents, 1 daughter, Wanda Parris Coon, 2 brothers, Clint and Lee Parris and 1 sister, Dollie Erickson.
Aaron is survived by a very loving family that includes his son; Tony Parris and wife Sandy of Siloam Springs, AR., 1 daughter; Barbara Skaggs of Westville, OK, 2 granddaughters; Cindy Anderson and husband Enos of Watts, OK., Charbrice Rhea of Westville, OK., 1 grandson; Eddie Skaggs and wife Angela of Tahlequah, OK., several other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held Wednesday August 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the New Hope Cemetery with Bro. John Morris officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
