Ricky James Morris, the son of Alvis James and Ahnawake (Hampton) Morris, was born October 15, 1955, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He departed this life May 24, 2014, in Choteau, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 9 days.
He enjoyed listening to and playing music with dad. Ricky enjoyed driving a truck. He liked spending time with family and friends. He liked going for rides in the country and looking at the countryside. Ricky would call and enjoyed talking to all of his family and friends. We all loved Ricky and did as much for him we could to make his life as good as possible. Rest in Peace Brother!
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Ahnawake Morris and one nephew, Jason Hammer.
He leaves behind, brothers, Harold Morris, of Kansas City, MO, Mike Morris and wife, Pamela, of Westville; sisters, Kay Morris and Jeannie Davis, of Westville, Carol Byrd and husband, Roger, of Siloam Springs, AR. Several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews also survive him.
Graveside services at 2 pm on Friday, May 30, 2014 at New Hope Cemetery, Westville, OK with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home.
