Gertrude Morris, daughter of Wyley and Ella Mae (Brown) Beavers, was born on November 18, 1938 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and passed from this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.

She married Dennis on May 21, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Gertrude helped Dennis support their family as an Executive Secretary for many years. The Lord blessed them with a long and happy married life of over 56 years. The Proctor community has lost two of its beloved members.

Her parents: Wyley and Ella Beavers, husband: Dennis and sisters: Audine and Ivonne preceded her in death.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter: Denise Smith and husband Jeff of Staunton, VA, grandchildren: Aaron Smith and wife Lauren, Amanda Loan and husband Dale, all of Staunton, Amber Reed and husband Scott of Tulsa, OK, brother: Conley Beavers and wife Verna of Chewey, OK and other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 16, 2015 at New Hope Cemetery, Chewey, OK with Bro. Sam Andrews officiating. Roberts & Hart Funeral Home - Westville, OK
