John W. Allen

John W. Allen, 78, of Jackson, Missouri passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at his home.
He was born April 8, 1929, in Stilwell, Ok., son of the Edward and Eva (Carlile)Allen.
He was married to Francisa Alfar on December 26, 1952 in the Philippines.
John was a 22 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a radioman and engineer.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Pinatuba Masonic Lodge in the Philippines.
Loving survivors include three sons; Eliseo "Butch" Allen of Oakland, California, Kerry A. Allen of Jackson, MO., Edward M. Allen of Dayton, three daughters; Ludi Headrick of Jackson, MO., Eva Allen-Pade of Orlando, FL., Amparro Allen-Lee of Chicago, Ill., and three nieces and a nephew whom John and Fracisa raised; Sally Perez, Tessie A. Powers, Men-Men Gwinnup and Chuck King, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Georgia Leman, three cousins, nieces and nephew.
His wife, Francisca Allen and his brother, Ernest W. Allen, Sr., preceded him in death.
Private services were held on September 19, 2007 with McComs Funera Home in Jackson in charge of arrangements.
New Hope Cemetery was his final resting place.
