Milton “Jim” Holland, 85, of Watts, Oklahoma passed away January 19, 2010, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born September 3, 1924, in Watts, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Lois Welch Holland.
Jim spent most of his life living in the Adair County area. On December 26, 1942, Jim was married to Eula Hastings in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was a farmer, mechanic and electrician. He enjoyed working and also raising and training mules, spending many hours with his team and wagon. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Westville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Marie Hampton, Marvie Hampton and Mildred Sixkiller and one infant brother, Lewis Holland.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Eula Holland, of the home; four daughters, Louise Williams, of Westville, Patsy Taylor, of Siloam Springs, AR, Retha Hill, of Watts and Debbie Lanier and husband, Charles, of Kansas, OK, 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, one brother, Manse Holland, of Westville and one sister, Melanie Noblin, of Longview, WA.
Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Self officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Westville.

Eula Luellen Holland, daughter of William David and Betty Viola (West) Hastings, was born April 30, 1924, in Proctor, Oklahoma. She departed this life September 16, 2011, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 16 days.
Eula and Milton “Jim” Holland were united in marriage on December 26, 1942, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and this union was blessed with four daughters, Louise, Patsy, Retha, and Debbie. Eula was a homemaker who enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She loved gardening, music, playing the piano and guitar, cooking and canning. She was of the Baptist faith.
Those preceding her in death include, her parents, her husband, Jim Holland, on January 19, 2010, two brothers, Clarence and Aubrey Hastings and one great granddaughter, Emily Torna.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family which includes, her daughters, Louise Williams, of Westville, Patsy Taylor, of Siloam Springs, AR, Retha Hill, of Watts, and Debbie Lanier, of Kansas; four sisters, Beulah Toney, of Long View, WA, Modine Hammer, of Watts, Wilma Morris, of Broken Arrow and Wynona Galyean, of Watts, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Rod Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
