Senora Gonzales Jr © Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home May 2011 Submitted by: Martha Real Senora Gonzales Jr., son of Senora “Snow” Sr. and Mary (Chuculate) Gonzales was born July 23, 1945 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on May 14, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 21 days.
He was a member of New Baptist Church. He was a licensed minister and over the years he served as Sunday school director and youth leader at various churches. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going sightseeing. During his younger years he loved playing and coaching ball. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He worked as a truck driver for many years and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Senora was preceded in death by his parents; Senora “Snow” and Mary Gonzales, 1 son; Christopher Michael Gonzales, 1 brother; Ross Gonzales and 5 infant siblings.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his 2 daughters; Leah Duncan and husband Rick, Michelle Gonzales and companion Eric Sawney all of Stilwell, OK, 5 grandchildren; Alyssa Gonzales, Jake Duncan, Andrew Gonzales, Taylee Sawney and Luke Duncan all of Stilwell, OK. 1 sister; Clara Mae Kimble and husband Rainwater of Bunch, OK, 1 brother; Levi Gonzales of Stilwell, OK, his childrens mother; Diann Frederick, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Joe Byrd and Rev. Larry Pritchett officiating.Interment followed at Killer Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
