Submitted by Jan GroomsHelen Louise Griffin daughter of Raymond and Nova Dugger was born July 14, 1958 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and departed this life surrounded by her family on August 31, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 1 month and 15 days.
Helen loved being a wife, mother, and most of all a Grandma. She was a homemaker and worked for Stilwell Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She never passed up an opportunity of spending her time with her grandchildren. Helen had many joys in life and one of which were her beloved dogs. She enjoyed setting outside on the front porch, going shopping with her daughters, and always loved a good laugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Griffin, her parents Raymond and Nova Dugger and several other loved ones.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four daughters Nova Nye and fianc Bryan of the home, Angela Ketcher and husband Steven, Tracy Standley, Kathy Murray and husband Daniel, all of Westville, OK, 3 sons Travis Standley of the home, Allan Standley and wife Genie of Dyer, AR, Sherman Standley and wife Cassandra of Alma, AR. Companion Howard Standley and 3 step children Mildred, Shirley and Afton all of the Home, 3 brothers: Scottie Dugger and wife Rachael of Alma, AR, Bo Dugger and wife Angel of Dyer,AR, Jimmy Dugger of Alma, AR, Ray Dugger of Arkansas, sister: Linda DeVor of Watts, OK, 22 grandchildren several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Graveside services at 2 pm on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Freewater Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Glen Hopkins officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
