Virginia Lee Fishinghawk the daughter of Melvin Lewis and Evelyn Genevieve (Morris) Breckenridge was born November 30, 1940, in Fresno, California and departed this life on April 29, 2020, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years and 5 months.
 

Ginger loved her family dearly and she enjoyed life. She was a hard worker and lifelong businesswoman in Stilwell. She enjoyed working and talking with her customers. She was excellent at sewing, loved making quilt tops and planting flowers in her garden. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids of whom she was most proud. She was a great cook, and enjoyed getting all of her family together for meals. Everyone was welcome at her table, family and friends alike. Ginger touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Lance Franklin Fishinghawk._


She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Lawrence Lee Fishinghawk and wife Robin of Tahlequah, Jodie Lynn Fishinghawk of Stilwell and Dr. Bobbi Genevieve  Fishinghawk-Merrie and husband Dr. Michael Merrie of Stilwell; her brothers Melvin Breckenridge Jr. and wife Nancy of Talala, Ivan Breckenridge and wife Linda of Atlanta, Kan. and Robert Breckenridge and wife Barbara of Independence, Mo.; and eight grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.


Private family graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2020 with Bro. Brian S. Kester officiating.

Burial is at Fishinghawk Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
