Clayton passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the age of 69.

The son of Levi and Martha Hawk Seabolt was born March 2, 1947 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He attended Stilwell schools where he excelled in baseball, basketball, and football before graduating in the class of 1965. After graduation, he began his working career. However, on May 2, 1968 he joined the United States Army. Upon being discharged in August of 1969, Clayton returned home to Stilwell. It was during this time that he met Louise Grimmett. They would marry on March 10, 1972. Over the next few years, Clayton and his family would leave Stilwell and move to Tulsa, then finally settling in Claremore in the late 1970's. He then began his career that spanned over 20 years at the Claremore Indian Hospital. After the hospital, he worked several more years as a parts manager for several area body shops.

Over the years Clayton had many hobbies and pastimes. He enjoyed coaching his boys in little league baseball at Powers Park. He enjoyed spending hours detailing his cars. He loved to talk to people. He also loved to watch his Oklahoma Sooners play football and basketball. In recent years, he loved traveling around northeast Oklahoma watching his Claremore Thunder boys play baseball and his little Zebra boys play basketball. More than anything, though, he loved spending time with his family.

He was active in his home church, Victory Tabernacle, where he was a member for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Levi Wofford Seabolt; brothers, Charlie Wofford, Ralph "RG" Wofford, and Jack Wofford; sisters, Viola Brown, Josephine Chuculate, and Floella Swimmer; as well as his grandsons, Taylor and Tyler Tannehill.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Louise Wofford; daughter, Bonnie Tannehill and husband Darrold; sons, Brandon Wofford and wife Julie, and Brant Wofford and friend Carrie Hughes; brothers, Levi and Thomas Wofford; grandchildren, Tiffany, Kelsey, and Felicia Tannehill, Lacie, Matt and Emily Wofford, and Monty Hughes; great-granddaughter, Kimberlee Gibson; special friends, Emma and Mason Blackwell along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
