Raymond Glass
January 16, 1931 - January 23, 2006

Funeral services for Raymond Glass were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Donnie Sanders and Bro. Richard Pickup officiating. Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Raymond Glass was born January 16, 1931 in Adair County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Taylor Glass and Charlie and Juanita Teehee. He went home to be with his Lord on January 23, 2006 in Tahlequah, at the age of 75 years, and seven days.

Raymond accepted the Lord as his savior and was baptized at Salem in 1945. He was ordained as a deacon on May 12, 1962 under the leadership of Pastor Smith Glass and received his ministry license on October 28, 1977. He was ordained to the ministry on November 4, 1978 while serving with Pastor Andy Gonzales at Fairfield Baptist Church.

He became pastor of Illinois River Baptist Church, serving the church from 1978-1985. In 1987, Raymond founded Crittenden Baptist Church and pastored there until 1992. From 1992-1993, he served as pastor of Cedar Tree Baptist Church and as associate pastor from 1993-1995.

On September 17, 1995, Raymond was called as pastor of Fourkiller Baptist Church and served there until December 1999. He also held the position of Moderator and RA Leader for the Indian Baptist Association.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Georgia Lou Glass, and his parents.

He is survived by his children, Jeff Glass and wife, Shelia and children, Kristy and Shelby, Diane Glass and children, Cassie and Michael, Chuck Glass and children, Sis, Boone and Ray, Rick Glass and wife, Kimberly and daughter, Ashley, great grandchildren, Sky, Kierra, Jaydence and Brycee; brothers and sisters, Beulah Acorn, Amos Teehee, Ida Roberts, Annabelle Duck, Emma Ruth Galcathcher, John Teehee, Billy Wayne Teehee and Roy Lee Teehee.
