December 27, 1942-December 8, 2008Samuel Grant Fourkiller the son of Felix and Flora (Hogner) Fourkiller was born December 27, 1942 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 8, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 65 years 11 months and 12 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Robert "Scope", Sim, and Billy Joe Fourkiller.
He loved fishing, hunting, fastpitch baseball, slowpitch softball, he loved being around his grandkids, he was also a very loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Linda Fourkiller of the home in Tulsa, OK, 1 daughter; Cecelia Fourkiller of Tulsa, OK, 4 sons; Roger Fourkiller, Brian Fourkiller, Anthony Fourkiller, Samuel Fourkiller and wife Lucinda all of Tulsa, OK, 3 brothers; Raymond Fourkiller and wife Pat, Grover Fourkiller, Thomas Fourkiller and wife Brenda all of Stilwell, OK, 3 sisters; Eva Mae Comado of Stilwell, OK, Donna Sue Fourkiller of Eufalla, OK, Brenda Fourkiller of Tulsa, OK, 9 grandchildren; Josh, Jeffery and Matt Womack, Chris Wolf, Kenneth and Zachary Fourkiller, Santiago Victor Fourkiller, Sarah and Rachel Wolf, and 2 great-granddaughters. Other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Fourkiller officiating.
Interment followed in the Fairfield Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
