Elliott Duane Workman the son of Charles Duane Workman and Shirley Ann (Minton) Gilbert was born June 9, 1970 in Sayre, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 6, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Elliott enjoyed life. He was proud to have served his country in the Marine Corps. He loved his country and he loved his family. Elliott never met a stranger. He enjoyed talking and visiting with people. You knew when he was in the room because he had a voice that could carry for miles. He was a goodhearted man and would help anybody, anyway that he could. He enjoyed helping around the farm and spending his days with his dad working on the place.

He was a true football fan. No matter who was playing he was watching. Elliott touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his parents Duane Workman and wife Jan of Stilwell and Shirley Ann Gilbert and husband Eldon of Rogers; his children Kristen Ragan and husband Donnie of Missouri and Robert Gray of Tulsa; his sister LaDonna Liles of Stilwell; his brothers Robert “Tink” Adair and wife Karie of Colombia, TN, Lewis Workman and wife Lacy of Stilwell and Brandon Workman of Stilwell; and his grandaughter Natalie Ragan of Missouri. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Elm Grove Cemetery. Burial is under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
