Lee Sellers, son of John Franklin and Fannie Louella (Unger) Sellers, was born July 7, 1928 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on September 9, 2016 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Lee was a very loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He was a custodian for many years and also enjoyed farming to provide for his family. He loved serving in the National Guard, attending services, singing hymns and worshiping the Lord at church. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all cherished time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Fannie Sellers, sister; Dorothy Heustis and brother; John Everett Sellers.
Lee is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of 62 years, Anna M. Sellers of the home in Stilwell, children; Mary Ann Proctor and husband Joe, Don Sellers and wife Linda, Wantina L. Rich and husband Eddie all of Stilwell, Jerry Lee Sellers and wife Paula of Westville, Frank and wife Robin Marie of Marionville, Mo., Jimmy Glen Sellers and wife Margaret of Stilwell, Cindy Lea Patton of Siloam Springs, Ark., William Ray Sellers and wife Anna of Stilwell, 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers; Joe Sellers and wife Marie, Henry Sellers and wife Lorene both of Stilwell, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 12, 2016 in the Honey Hill Church with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating.
Interment followed in the Elm Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
