Viola May Hart, daughter of Willie Robert and Berdie Pauline (Fullerton) Colston, was born November 12, 1941 in Branson, Missouri and departed this life on September 8, 2019 surrounded by loved ones at her home at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 27 days.

She loved camping, fishing, crocheting, caring for at least 77 foster children, celebrating birthdays and would often be found in a kitchen baking up their favorites whether it was stuffing or yeast rolls but most of all she enjoyed precious time with her children and grandchildren.

She worked as a home health nurse for many years to help provide for her family.


Viola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ivan Hart in 2013, her twin sister: Nola Faye, brothers; Eddie, Teddie and Ronnie Colston, 1 granddaughter; Lana Brockman and 2 great grandchildren; Kadon Crow and Raniah Hart.
 

She is survived by a large and loving family that includes her 11 children; Don Hart and wife Diane of Hulbert, Phyllis Murray and companion Terry Thompson of Westville, Lenora Cooper and husband Donald of Huntington, Ark., Vickie Neal and husband Randy of Lincoln, Ark., Wanda Brauher and husband Ivan Gary of Peavine, Rhonda Ritchie and husband William of Stilwell, Shary Carson and husband Danny of Stilwell, OK, Connie Allmer and husband Brian of Briggsdale, Colo., Roger Hart and wife Debbie of Peavine, Tammy Richardson and husband Tommy of Stilwell, Matthew Hart and wife Nina of Westville, 31 grandchildren, 49 great, 14 great- great-grandchildren. Siblings; Charles Colston and wife Ruth, Earl Colston and wife Carolyn, Donna Thomas, Donald Colston, Sue Walker, Jane Jones and husband Jay, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
 

Funeral services were held Friday, September 13, 2019 at Christian Worship Center, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Pastor Marty Jones officiating.

Interment followed at Elm Grove
