Lillian Weaver Thirsty, daughter of Dick Weaver and Nancy Beaver, was born on March 13, 1932 in Lyons Switch, Oklahoma where she attended UG until the third grade and went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.

She lived a full life, surrounded by her family and friends. Lillian worked at Greenleaf Nursery to help support her family. She met William Thirsty and they were together since she was 16. Lillian was baptized and saved in 1976. She enjoyed gardening when she was younger. She liked looking for wild onions and mushrooms. Lillian also liked looking for poke salad while driving down the road. She liked to fish and enjoyed going to the casino. Lillian cherished the time she spent with her family and loved her children and grandchildren equally. Because of her, they learned how to love.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents: Dick and Nancy Weaver, husband: William Thirsty, brothers: Jim Weaver, Steve Weaver, sisters: Mary Hepburn, Lydia Baldridge, children: Anita Fields, Lolita Shannon, J.C. Thirsty and grandson: Watie Thirsty, Jr.

She is survived by her loving family that includes her sons: Bill Thirsty and wife Sandy, Watie Thirsty, Jimmy Thirsty and wife Rolinda, daughter: Judy Coiner and husband Lyle, 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Clifford Springwater, Adam Thirsty, Jr., Jimmy Ray Thirsty, Sr. and Bill Thirsty officiating.

Interment followed at Echota Cemetery.
