Dave Johnson
August 26, 1964 - August 15, 2009
Dave Johnson, the son of Edgar Lee Johnson and Louella Mae (Bendabout) Johnson, was born August 26, 1964, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life August 15, 2009, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 44 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Dave worked at Greenleaf Nursery in Tahlequah. He enjoyed playing the guitar and playing practical jokes on everyone.
His parents and two brothers, Michael and Billy Johnson, preceded Dave in death.
He leaves behind his special girlfriend, Cynthia Hummingbird, of Stilwell; four brothers, Henry Edward Johnson, of Stilwell, Dennis Ray and Betty Johnson, of Wichita, KS, Joe James and Kathy Johnson, of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Howard and Lynda Johnson, of Tulsa; three sisters, Edra and Ron Brumfield, of Hominy, Janice and Roger Jones, of Orient, OH, Karen and Steve Porritt, of Skiatook and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Johnson-Pritchett Baptist Church with Bro. Lewis Flynn and Bro. John Blackwood officiating. Interment followed at Echota Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
