September 26, 1921 - July 19, 2009
Laura Lorine West, daughter of Fred and Liza Watkins, was born September 26, 1921 in Adair County, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Laura was devoted to her family and friends. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She enjoyed the time spent with her family. Laura touched so many lives during her life and will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
Laura was preceded in death by husband: Hubert West, husband: George Hall, her siblings: Dora, Cora, Virgil, Virgie, Arthur, Abner, John, Andrew, Lula and Ethel, a grandson: Bobby Bland, a son-in-law: George Bland and a grand son-in-law: David Burr.
Laura is survived by a daughter: Edith Bland of Stilwell, her grandchildren: Deborah Peterson and husband Jack of Riverton, WY, Brenda Burr of Stilwell, Billy Bland of Stilwell, Dorinda Gillaspy and husband Robert of Stilwell, a granddaughter –in-law: Linda Pickle of Keota, OK, her great grandchildren: Scotty Bland and wife Amber of Wister, OK, Jack Peterson of Riverton, WY, Robert Gillaspy and wife Kathy of Stilwell, May Peterson of Riverton, WY, Jennifer Burr of Stilwell and Mark Peterson of Riverton, WY, two great great grandchildren: Claira and Michael Bland of Wister, OK, several other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
