Rachel Jean (Bowen) Unger

Rachel Jean Unger, daughter of Glenn Arnold and Dorothy (Davis) Bowen, was born August 28, 1981 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 9, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 37 years, 6 months and 12 days.
She was a very loving wife, daughter and friend. She enjoyed aggravating people on Facebook, loved fishing and flowers. She graduated high school in Michigan and attended Northeastern State University.
Some of her favorite time was spent volunteering for over 15 years with the Tri Community Fire Department where she was #421. Rachel had a great love for her fur babies; Chico, Cece, Tiger and Socks.
Rachel was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Glenn Ellsworth and Joy (Arnold) Bowen and mother in law; Ellen Unger.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Craig Unger of the home in Stilwell, parents; Glenn Arnold and Dorothy Davis Bowen, siblings; John Andrew Bowen and wife Cindy, Elizabeth Bowen Bevars and husband David, Michael William Bowen and wife Diana, father-in-law; Robert Unger, brothers in law; Greg Unger and fiance April Carver and Tom Unger. A close family friend who was like a sister; Chree Hall, several nieces, a nephew, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery, Stilwell, with Pastor Bud Ullrich.
Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery, Stilwell. Arrangements by Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home – Stilwell
