February 12, 1927-June 15, 2008
Nell Jean Tice the daughter of James Thomas and Sophia Gertrude (Moats) Massey was born February 12, 1927 in Cookson, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 15, 2008 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years 4 months and 3 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William L. Tice, 2 brothers; Tommy and Jay Massey, 2 sisters; Lynda Manuel and Betty Duke.
She is survived by a loving family that includes 2 sons; Bill King and wife Joanne of Blanchard, OK., and Dan Tice of Newalla, OK., 1 brothers; Buck Massey of Welling, OK., Gus Massey of Boonville, AR., and 2 sisters; Marilyn Dosey of Lofton, TX., Jo June Holt of Muskogee, OK., 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, several other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ted Lawson officiating.
Interment followed in the Ewing Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
