Janice Sue (Ross ) Smith, daughter of Luther and Vadia (Cox) Ross, was born on May 22, 1948 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 16 days.
Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed dancing in her younger days. Her grandchildren were her life and she was blessed by the time spent with them. Janice liked to fish, meet new people, visit with friends and sing. She was wonderful person and will hold a special place in many hearts.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, father: Luther Ross and a niece: LaRita Ross.
Those remaining to keep her memory are her husband: Anthony Smith, of the home in Stilwell, mother: Vadia Ross of Stilwell, daughters: Tina Coffman and husband Robert of Hominy, OK, Amanda Chappell and husband Doug of Rogers, AR, Michaela Smith of Seligman, MO, sons: Kevin Hull and wife Nancy of Springdale, AR, Stanley Hull and wife Delores of Rogers, AR, Steven Smith of Cassville, MO, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one on the way, siblings: Danny Ross and wife Linda, Randy Ross and wife Andrea, Lucy Wheeler and husband James, Karen Martinez and husband Marty, all of Stilwell, Melvin Ross of Wister, OK, Jeannie Nast and husband John of Greenwood, AR, Jimmie Frailey and husband Danny of Kansas, OK. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services at 10 am on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Danny Ross officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery.
