Wesley James O’Neal, son of Jimmy O’Neal and Carolyn (Swafford) O’Neal, was born on January 6, 1978 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2019 at his home in Evansville, Arkansas at 41 years of age.

Wesley attended school in Lincoln, Arkansas, where he excelled as a defensive end on his High School football team. He enjoyed hunting & fishing in season and years ago, had a passion for preserving Super Bowl games on VHS tapes.

Wesley was a member of Central Baptist Church in Stilwell.

Wesley also enjoyed spending precious time with his family. He loved music of all genres, especially country. Wesley treasured his time with his grandchildren, Chloe and Malachi.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Sam and Laveda Swafford, grandfather: Harley O’Neal and his father: Jimmy O’Neal.


Wesley is survived by a loving and devoted family that includes his mother: Carolyn O’Neal of Evansville, AR his children: Joshua O’Neal of Evansville, Chase O’Neal and Kesley O’Neal of Stilwell, OK, sister: Jamie Christensen and husband Shawn of Ft. Gibson, OK, grandmother: Georgia O’Neal of Cookson, OK, grandchildren: Chloe O’Neal and Malachi O’Neal of Muldrow, OK, nephew: Benjamin Parker of Ft. Gibson.

Wesley is also survived by many other family members and friends.
 

Graveside services were held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Larry Swafford officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
