Darrell Edwin Wright
January 14, 1934-November 12, 2007
Darrell Edwin Wright, the son of Jess Wright and Jennie (Bradford) Wright, was born January 14, 1934, in Baron, Oklahoma.
He passed from this life November 12, 2007, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 28 days.
Darrell was married to Johnnie Riggs on April 14, 1967, in Westville, Oklahoma.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean conflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents; Jess and Jennie Wright as well as one sister; Barbara Jean Wilkie.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Johnnie Wright, of the home in Baron, OK., five sons; Michael Wright and wife, Robin of Moore, OK., Daryl Wright of Colorado, Bryan Wright and wife Amanda of Baron, OK., Robert Wright of Arkansas, and John Wright of Fort Smith, Arkansas, one sister; Betty Mae Revell of Tulsa, OK., 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
Services were held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Bro. Norman Wilkie officiating.
Interment followed at Downing Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
