Imodene “Deane” Watt was born on February 18, 1937 in Baron, Oklahoma to Hershel and Martha (Boling) Olinger and departed her life on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 82 years of age.
 

Deane was married to Jackson Watt on September 9, 1972. They were married for 30 years.

She accomplished many things in her life and was a member of several organizations. Deane graduated from NSU with an accounting degree and was the Stilwell City Clerk for 10 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church, American Legion, Soroptimist Club, Adair County Historical Association, Order of the Eastern Star, Lookup Accounting.org and the Daughters of the Nile.

Deane enjoyed meeting people and helping them with their taxes, She loved to camp, fish and especially loved being around friends and family.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Martha Olinger, husband, Jack Watt, brothers, Hershel, Jr. and J D Olinger, sisters-in-law, Abby Olinger and Sue Olinger.


Deane is survived by three brothers: Richard Olinger and wife Imadene of Baron, Tom Olinger and wife Judy of Ft. Smith, Ark., Larry Olinger of Oro Valley, Ariz., sister-in-law: Theora Olinger of Tahlequah, four children: Gail Korper and husband Keath of Yukon, Danny Matthews and wife Cathy of Stilwell, Deanna Butler and husband Terry of Baron, Daniel Hall and wife Amber of Washington, Okla., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
 

A Special Thank You to the people of the First United Methodist Church of Stilwell for their prayers and visits, the Eastern Star Organization for their friendship and support and the Stilwell Nursing Home for taking care of Deane in her final days.
 

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Cathy Matthews and Pastor Rose Leroy officiating.

Interment followed at Downing Cemetery, Baron
