James Earl Fishinghawk
March 29, 1943-February 22, 2008
James Earl Fishinghawk, the son of Lucy "Tot" Viola (Clinton) and Clebert James Fishinghawk, was born March 29, 1943, in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
He departed this life February 22, 2008, at Northwest Regional Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 22 days.
He was married to Retha Jean Bunch on June 16, 1971, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. To this union, they had two sons.
James attended Westville Schools and then went to OSU in Okmulgee where he became a dietary manager. He retired from W.W. Hastings Hospital after 29 years of service.
James was a member of Baron Baptist Church. He enjoyed harassing others, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother; Harold Glen Fishinghawk.
His surviving family includes his wife of 36 years, Retha Jean of the home, brother; Gerald Lee Fishinghawk and wife Lynn of Eufaula, OK., children; James Earl Fishinghawk, Jr and wife Heather of Stilwell, OK., Timothy Jon Fishinghawk and wife Tiffany of Stilwell, OK., James Michael Fishinghaw of Hulbert, OK., Harold Glen Fishinghawk and wife Tracy of Ft. Gibson, OK., Kimberley Gaye Pierce and husband Billy of Okay, OK., 15 grandchildren and a host of many friends, family and loved ones.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2008, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Billy Craig and Bro. Scott Latta officiating.
Interment followed at Downing Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
