Florence Holbird
September 12, 1912 - May 17, 2006
Funeral services for Florence Holbird, 93, were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Interment followed at Downing Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Florence Irene Holbird, was born September 12, 1912 in Hickory Hill, Oklahoma to Elizabeth Charlotte Winters and William Carlton Winters and departed this life on May 17, 2006 in Stilwell, at the age of 93.
Florence accepted Jesus as her savior when she was 13 years old and was of the Baptist faith. She was married to Doyle Gilbert Holbird on June 19, 1930.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, five brothers, one sister, on daughter-in-law, Helen Louise Holbird, one son-in-law, Fred Carlisle and four great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Ray Holbird, of Atlanta, GA., Robert Doyle Holbird and wife, Jane of Stilwell; one daughter, Florence Charlene Carlisle of Cimarron, NM; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
