Janice Kay Cole, 72, a native of Westville, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2020, in Springdale, Arkansas.

Janice was born July 6, 1947 to Roy and Tilda (Shepherd) Clinton. She graduated from Westville High School in 1965 and later went on to receive her LPN license.

Janice Cole married Larry Wayne Cole on November 28, 1969. Janice was a devout Christian who would frequently go on mission trips and donate her most valuable resource, time, to Baron Baptist Church.

Janice worked as a nurse and brought happiness to individuals and their families to those in need. She enjoyed her flowers and vegetable gardens and giving the fruits of her labor to family members and others. Janice and Larry would frequently travel around the United States and view the beauty of the Lord’s creations. She will be remembered for her infectious love and dedication to God and her family.


Janice was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Tilda (Shepherd) Clinton. three brothers Pete, Daryl, and Wayne Clinton. three sisters Dorothy Couch, Louise Smith, and Dean Asbill.
 

Janice is survived by her husband of 50 years Larry Wayne Cole of the home, two sons Bobby and Teresa Cole of Portland, Tenn. and Brent Cole of Westville. one daughter Glenda and Karlin Bailey of Tulsa, sister-in-law Lorene Clinton of Westville, eleven grandchildren: Blake, Nicholas, Nathan Cole, and Madison, triples,. Cole, Ethan, and Hope.  also, Bailey and. Morgan Smith, Hailey, Dusti, and Ruger Cole. our great-grandchildren Jaxon Cole, Jenson and Cheston Smith, Gannon Cole and a host of loved ones.
 

Flowers and/or contributions to Baron Baptist Church- Missions are welcome.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Baron Baptist Church, Baron, with Bro. Don Varble and Bro. Scott Latta officiating.


Interment followed at Downing Cemetery, Baron, under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
