Billy Ray Butler, the son of Dewey Ray and Emma Jean (Lemaster) Butler was born January 27, 1943 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and died Friday March 23, 2018 at Stilwell at the age of 75 years, 1 month, and 24 days.
He was married to Charlene Clinton on November 5, 1962 in Stilwell. To this Union were born 1 daughter and 3 sons. Bill served several years in the Oklahoma National Guard. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed traveling and meeting people. He always had a story or joke to share when friends came to visit. After retiring as a driver for Walmart he opened a body shop and enjoyed repairing and restoring cars. Bill was an Ordained Minister and over the years Pastored at Watts Baptist Church and Short Baptist Church and filled in when needed at numerous churches in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas.Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell
