Herman J. McCollum was born November 27, 1938, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Ulice McCollum and Margaret (Poor) McCollum and passed away April 15, 2008, at his home in Twin Oaks, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 18 days.
His parents, one son, Perry McCollum and two brothers, Norman and Kenneth McCollum, preceded Herman in death.

Smith, AR, Corey Leach of Catoosa, OK and Ricky McCollum, of Twin Oaks, OK, three daughters; Phyllis Riddle and Terri Taylor of Ft. Smith, AR and Connie Kirk of Rocky Ford, OK three stepchildren, Phillip Leach of Tahlequah, OK, Loretta Hardbarger of Stilwell, OK and Sherry Teague of Greenwood, AR, three brothers; Robert McCollum of Sapulpa, OK, Rufus McCollum of Tulsa, OK, and Daniel McCollum of Kellyville, OK, four sisters; Helen Philpott of Kellyville, OK, Maggie Berry of Tahlequah, OK, Welita Bliss of Norman, OK and Retha Pendergrass of Kellyville, OK, 33 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
