Lela Gail Buckner
February 3, 1976-May 26, 2009

Lela Gail Buckner, daughter of Adrian Henry and Wanda Faye (Brown) Buckner, was born February 3, 1976 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on May 26, 2009 at the age of 33 years, 3 months and 23 days.

Lela was baptized on August 18, 1985. Her children were her life and she loved spending time with them. She also loved to swim and enjoyed reading.
She was a very giving and loving person. Lela loved her long hair, but in the spirit of giving she recently donated her hair to "Locks of Love". She was very tender hearted and gave blood every chance she had in order to help others.
Lela was a lead at Facet where her laughter brought a smile to many faces.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Maudie and HT Brown, Leland and Evelyn Buckner, and infant brother; Harrison Henry Buckner, numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by family that loves her and will miss her deeply. They include her children; Devin, Mark Jr., Jade and Brittnee Nakedhead of the home, her parents; Adrian and Faye Buckner, her sisters; Sheridan Soap and husband Josh, Lawanda Buckner and her fiance Nathan Handle, her nieces; Jaycee and Kinley Soap, Chelsey Sawney, her nephew; Phillip Sawney Jr., all of Stilwell, OK., several aunts, uncles other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jim Walker officiating.
Interment followed at Zion Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed_Culver Funeral Home.
