Mollie Lee Starr
November 24, 1918 - January 2, 2010
Mollie Lee Starr was born November 24, 1918, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to John and Nannie (Ross) Beaver. On January 2, 2010, she passed from this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 91.
Mollie was married to Andrew C. Starr on January 28, 1944, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading her Bible, listening to music, singing and embroidery. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Preceding Mollie in death were her parents, her husband, Andrew Starr who died September 12, 1999, daughter, Jennie Starr, grandson, Smoky B. Franco, granddaughter, Rachel Solis, great grandson, Matthew Schultz, great granddaughter, Elizabeth Walking Eagle, half brothers, Hubert Beaver, Phillip, Nick, Charlie, Lee Owl, Alex Beaver, Bob Jones and Felix Chuculate, half sisters, Manda Sylestine, Ella Owl, Elisa Vann, Martha Pettit, Imogene Christie and Sara Hardbarger.
She leaves behind four daughters, Nannie Mae Schultz and Betty Lee Chartier, of Stilwell, Jane Starr, of Hayward, CA and Bonnie Lou Solis, of Hulbert; 9 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; half brother, Sam Beaver; half sisters, Eloise Christie, Nellie Sue Pettit, Mary Lou Chewey and Jennie Cameron and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services were held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Sequoyah Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Fourkiller officiating. Burial was at Clear Springs under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
