Funeral srvices for Richard James MCLEMORE were held Monday, April 12, 1999 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Stilwell with Bro. John BREWER officiating. Interment followed in the Clear Springs Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Richard was born June 3, 1930 in Stilwell to Jess Sam and Dora Bell HOPPER MCLEMORE. He departed this life April 8, 1999 in Stilwell at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 5 days.
He was known to his family and friends as "Chief." Richard was a retired forklift operator at Stilwell Foods.
He was married to Nancy VANN on August 26, 1970 in Anadarko. Richard was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Frances MORENO; one brother, Jesse D. MCLEMORE; one grandson, Thomas FOURKILLER and one nephew, Art FIELDS, Jr.
Richard is survived by his wife Nancy of the home; three sons, Curtis, Eddie and Roy, all of Okla.; four daughters, Gussie, Mae, Verena and Lena, all of Okla.; one brother, Ronnie of Okla.; six sisters, Verena of Kansas, Margaret, Doris, Shirley and Ginger, all of Okla., and Lula of Texas; and 25 grandchildren.
