Davis Lee Mink, the son of Alex Mink and Emma (Vann) Mink, was born October 28, 1949, in Adair County, Oklahoma. He departed this life March 18, 2011, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 20 days.
Davis was a member of the Greasy Indian Mission Pentecostal Church and did volunteer work at the community building.
Davis enjoyed being with family and friends and entertaining all his nieces and nephews with his stories.
He liked to play dominos and ride his bike everywhere.
He was the most kind-hearted person and would give up anything to make sure others were happy.
He was loved by everyone and he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Tommy Mink, grandparents, Josiah and Linnie Vann, special niece, Michal Eagle and a nephew, Aaron Tyron Beaver.
He leaves behind, one brother, Brian Mink and wife, Katie, of Stilwell; three sisters, Peggy Smith and husband, Roger, of Park Hill, Joanna Watie and husband, Sundown, Naomi Stone and Donna Ruben, all of Stilwell; special nephews, Jonathan Mink and wife, Amy, and Damon Mink, all of Stilwell. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of friends and loved ones also survive him.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. John Flute officiating. Interment will follow at Chuculate Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
