Henry Johnson
October 16, 1919 - September 8, 2010
Henry Johnson, son of Charley and Lila (Blair) Johnson was born October 16, 1919 near Marble City and departed this life on September 8, 2010 in Midwest City, Ok at the age of 90 years, 10 months and 22 days.
Henry was an Auto Mechanics teacher by trade until his retirement from Bill Willis Skills Center in 1990.
He was baptized in Tahlequah and attended the Chuculate Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 wives; Lucy and Florence Johnson, 2 sons; Ray and Buddy Johnson, daughter; Amanda Johnson, brothers; J.D., Leonard and Charley Johnson, sister; Violet Still.
Henry is survived by a very loving family that includes his children; Scottie Johnson, Harvey Johnson and wife Louetta, Jerry Johnson and wife Joyce, Chubby Johnson all of Stilwell, Ok, Zona Davis and husband Danny of Midwest City. Grandchildren; Charles Scott Johnson of Gatesville, TX, Kyle Johnson, Phedon Johnson, Triston Johnson, Codi Johnson, Lucy Johnson, Trina Auffett all of Stilwell, Ok, Jacob Sawney, Kevin Johnson and Danny Davis all of Oklahoma City, Ok, Kim Johnson, Leslie Johnson, Tammy and Charla all of Texas. 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Chuculate Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Still officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
