Christian “CJ” James Gonzalis, son of Georgia Gonzalis, was born on October 24, 2000 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life for his heavenly home on Monday, December 2, 2019 in Atoka, Oklahoma at the tender age of 19.
He attended Cave Springs and Zion Schools. CJ graduated from Zion in 2016. He attended NEO College for a couple of semesters. CJ was only 8 years old when he fell in love with football. So much so that it became natural to him. He loved playing football at Zion. He loved to laugh and smile with anyone he came in contact with and his kindness was so infectious that he could brighten up anyone’s day. CJ loved taking care of his family, especially his Mom and sister, Eva. They came first in his life. He worked hard every day to provide for them and all of his family. CJ cherished every minute he spent with his brothers, nephews and niece. He loved them all. His passions were football, basketball and blasting his favorite music. CJ just loved being there for anyone and everyone. He was always lending a helping hand. He gave himself to the Lord and was baptized on July 1, 2018 at Welch. CJ was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.Interment followed at Chuculate Cemetery, Stilwell, under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell
