Services for Joyce Elaine Bunch 69 of Tahlequah, Oklahoma are April 6, 2021, at Green Country Funeral Home.

Joyce Elaine Bunch was born in Independence, Kansas on January 9, 1952 to Joseph David Cochran and Lula (Tucker) Cochran. She departed this life on March 31, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years 2 months and 21 days.

Joyce grew up in Independence, Kansas where she was a 1969 graduate of Independence High School.

After relocating to Tahlequah, she began attending college at Northeastern State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She took a job at Cherokee Nation and her career lasted thirty plus years with Cherokee Nation in the Accounting Department.

Joyce enjoyed going to garage sales, junking looking for treasures. She especially enjoyed attending auctions.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking road trips to see her sisters.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents J.D. and Lula Cochran; her husband, Woodrow Bunch; daughter, Jessica Philpott; sister Janice Sprague; and her uncle Wendell Cochran.

Joyce is survived by a son, David and (Danette) of Stilwell, Oklahoma; granddaughter Kiley Christie of Woodall and her children Garrison Philpott of Tahlequah, Charity Chippewa of Arkansas, Felicia Chippewa of Tahlequah, and Rocky Chippewa also of Tahlequah; step children, Thomasina Moore and Tommy of Welling, Michael Bunch and Dana of Tahlequah, Melissa Bunch of Taft; their children, Kayla Moore, Katie Moore and Hunter Bunch all of Tahlequah; six siblings, Sue Lumm, Billie Covert, Connie

Molina, Kathy Shartzer, Russell Cochran and Ellen Day; as well as many extended family members and friends.
