Funeral services for Andrew Bolin, age 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Stilwell. Reverend Hubert Sponsler and Terry Tatum will preside. Interment will follow at the Chuculate Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.

Andrew Bolin, 82, was born in Watts, OK on April 24, 1928 to Jay Hiram Bolin and Myrtle (Painter) Bolin. Andrew passed from this life to be with Jesus on June 23, 2010 at Quail Ridge Health & Rehab Center in Siloam Springs, AR.

Andrew went to school in his early years at Union Grade Elementary School and North Greasy School. He went to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1949, where he met and married Betty Rose Edwards on October 6, 1950. He went to work and trained as a Plumber at Winston Plumbing Company and later, he and Betty ran their own plumbing company.

Andrew loved hunting and fishing along with mule riding, especially being a member of the Okie-Arkie Trail Riders Association. He was a faithful member of the Christian Worship Center.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Myrtle Bolin; one son, Larry Joe Bolin; two sisters, Bea Carr of CA and Katie Flieg of KS; two brothers, Loy (Bud) Bolin and George Bolin of Stilwell.

Andrew is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Rosa of the home; daughter, Lea Anne Johnson and husband Ted of Elkins, AR; son, Michael Bolin and wife Joyce of Stilwell; five grandchildren, Aaron and Spencer Doyle and Candice Johnson of Springdale, AR; Derrick and Robin Doyle of Ft. Worth, TX; James and Andrea Bolin of Stilwell; two great grandchildren, Adrienne Doyle of Springdale and Blake Doyle of Bentonville, AR; sisters, Margaret Bunch of Madera, CA, Daisy Phillips of Corpus Christi, TX, Sue Rich of Stilwell, Jewel and Pat Hall of Anthony, Kansas, Sadie and Dusty Isaacs of Muldrow, OK; brother, Leon Bolin of Stilwell; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Andrew truly loved his family and his grandchildren and was known as “Grandpa” by all his grandchildren’s friends. He will be truly missed.
