Donnie Dean Davidson went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 23, 2015, at Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
He was one of four children born to Marvin and Lois Davidson on September 24, 1941. Even as a young boy he helped his father and brother by driving a John Deere H tractor. He was still so small his father had to help with the clutch. He was the Valedictorian of his eight grade Chalk Bluff class and he finished in the top five percent of his graduating class. His parents were so proud.
After graduating at 17 he worked in Tulsa until he turned 18 and joined the Army in September, 1959. He was honorably discharged in December, 1962. He met his future wife, Weetah, on New Year's Eve 1962. He attended accounting school in 1967 to 1968 and married his wife in 1968. He worked various jobs in Tulsa and Sapulpa.
After divorcing, Donnie was saved in July, 1980. He attended various churches in the Stilwell area. He spent many weekends with Reverend Lawson and his wife, Weetah going to different singing fellowships.
Donnie was a compassionate man, who enjoyed spending time at the senior center. He was a good witness to his buddies trying to get them saved. He was faithful to his churches and lent a helping hand to anyone in need whether he knew them or not. He enjoyed spending time with his family in Owasso, he always wanted to spoil them by taking them out to eat.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin and Lois (Hutchinson) Davidson, brothers: Dewayne and Mikel, half brothers: Bill and James, half sister: Blanche Holt.
Donnie is survived by his brother: Jesse Jack Davidson, Glenpool, OK, nieces and nephews: Pamela (Ernie) Blakestad, Owasso, OK, Susan (Kyle) Terry, Owasso, OK, Darlene Morton, James Collins, Vicki Terrell, all of Stilwell, OK, Glenna (Jim) Murdock, Loveland, Colorado.; Dr. Brenda (Dr. Laurence) Gavin, Philadelphia, PA, Paula (David) Hall, Prescott, AZ, Bill Holt, CA.
