Vanila Phipps
June 16, 1923 - June 13, 2007
Vanila Phipps daughter of William and Lucy Miteldia (Scott) Morphis was born June 16, 1923 in Bearden, OK and departed this life of June 13, 2007 in Westville, OK at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 27 days.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties that followed her role of a very loving, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Johnnie Phipps in 1995, 1 daughter; Vanila Lee Phipps in 2001 and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her son; Gary Wayne Phipps and wife Gene Eloyse of Tahlequah, OK, daughter; Debra Linn and husband Bill of Colcord, OK, 2 grandchildren Jonathan Phipps and wife Karma, Jessica Phipps, 1 great grandson; Tristyn Phipps all of Tahlequah, OK, several other relatives and many, many friends.
Graveside services were held, Friday June 15, 2007 in the Bunch Cemetery with Gary Wayne Phipps officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
