Johnny B. Mays
March 30, 1949 - November 15, 2008
Johnny B. Mays was born March 30, 1949, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to John “Bill” and Mary Lois Mays. He passed from this life on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Memorial Hospital at the age of 59 years.
Johnny attended Sequoyah Baptist Church. He was an avid reader and enjoyed Stephen King novels.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Bill” and Mary Lois Mays.
He is survived by his daughter, Shana Rill and husband, Eric, of Stilwell; one grandson, Weston Rill, of Stilwell; one sister, Pamela K. Ware and husband, Travis, of Wichita, Kansas; two nephews, Jonathan Ware and wife, Johnna, of Wichita, Kansas and Travis Lohan Ware and wife, Lorna, of Wichita, Kansas; one great nephew, Dewane Ware, of Wichita, Kansas and special friend, Carolen Clinton, of Westville, as well as a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Bunch Cemetery with Bro. James Wheeler officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
