Michael Lee Kimble, son of
Herbert and Eva Louise (Hoppis) Kimble, was born March 7, 1953 in
Sallisaw, Oklahoma and departed this life January 23, 2020 in
Collinsville, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years.
Mike married Cheryl Dene
Limore on June 23, 1972. The union of this marriage brought three
children, Lana, Brad and Michelle. Mike served six years in the Oklahoma
National Guard. He was an industrial arts teacher for 30 years which he
thoroughly enjoyed and was recognized as teacher of the year in 1993. He
loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids, gardening,
raising cattle and being a loving and compassionate friend and neighbor
to many. He was a fireman and a board member for the Greasy Volunteer
Fire Department for 10 years.
Mike was proceded in death by
his parents, Herbert and Eva Kimble, father-in-law, George Limore,
Grandson, Breydon Hammer and sister-in-law, Junie Limore.
He is survived by his wife,
Cheryl, of the home in Bunch. His daughter, Lana Hammer and husband Erin
and grandson Cash of Collinsville, granddaughter Kelsey Hammer and
companion Will Rowlett and great-granddaughters Lily and Lyla of Bixby;.
his son, Brad Kimble and grandsons Cole and Grant and granddaughter
Brylee of Bunch. His daughter, Michelle Bunch and husband Nate and
granddaughter Addie and grandson Reese of Bunch. One sister, Earlene
Ford and husband Wayne, of Sallisaw and. one brother, Dean Kimble and
wife Roberta of Bunch.
Mike had a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and loved ones who were near and dear to his heart.
Funeral services were held
Monday, January 27, 2020 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with
Bro. Terry Mays officiating.
Interment followed at Bunch Cemetery,
Bunch.
