Henry Arthur Johnson October 5, 1930 - February 23, 2007
Henry Arthur Johnson, son of Samuel Richard and Gertrude Moor (Whitworth) Johnson, was born October 5, 1930 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on February 23, 2007 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 18 days and will be waiting to see the rest of his loved ones someday in Heaven.
Henry married the love of his life Margaret May Kimble on June 14, 1952 and to this union 3 children were born: Russell, Barry and Penny.
Henry served his country proudly as a Sgt. in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He worked as a construction contractor before retirement.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents: Samuel and Gertrude Johnson, 1 infant brother: Samuel Richard Johnson, 4 brothers: Bob, Jack, Bill and Richard Johnson and 1 sister: Bettye Jo (Morgan) Leatherwood.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 54 years, Margaret Johnson of the home, 2 sons: Russell Von Johnson and Barry Johnson and wife Kathy, 1 daughter, Penny Bode and husband Lannie all of Stilwell, OK, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 2 step granddaughters, 11 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandkids, 1 brother: Johnnie Johnson and wife Bonnie, 2 sisters: Marilyn Hill Russell and Saundra Miller. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held, Monday, February 26, 2007 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Pastor Max Ford officiating. Interment followed in the Bunch Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
