Jennings Bryan Girdner, son of Jennings Bryan and Jewell (Stilwell) Girdner was born July 20, 1952 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and departed this life on August 19, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years and 29 days.
Jennings drove a school bus for 23 years working for Cave Springs School and Indian Capital Vo Tech. He was a farmer and rancher most of his life and had a passion for hunting, fishing, gardening, trapping and riding four wheelers. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nephews and nieces. He was of the Holiness Faith.
Jennings was preceded in death by his parents; Jennings Bryan and Jewell Girdner.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his brother; Dale Girdner and wife Kim, sisters; Judy James all of Stilwell, OK, Brenda Hartshorne and husband Charles of Watts, OK, Sandra Jane Girdner of Stilwell, OK, a nephew whom was like a son; Gerid James of Stilwell, OK, nephews; Alex Girdner and wife Kristy, Brent Girdner all of Stilwell, OK, nieces; Jewelie Hartshorne and husband Al of Lauderdale, MS, Priscilla Cloud of Siloam Springs, AR, Charlesa Harris and husband Anthony of Westville, OK, Shelly Hartshorne of Watts, OK. Great nephew; Christian Reed, great nieces; Sabrina Johnson, Krystin James, Madelyn Cloud, Samantha James, Kamry Kay Girdner, Gabrielle Harris, Kaylynn Cloud, Chloe McMillon, several other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Memorial services at 10 am on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Bunch Baptist Church, Bunch, Oklahoma with Bro. Todd Dowty and Bro. Terry Mays officiating.
