Ivan Wayne Fuson
Bunch Cemetery
Ivan Wayne Fuson, son of Homer Howard and Myrtle May (Chaffin) Fuson, was born on April 1, 1940 in Bunch, Oklahoma and departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 17 days.
He married Kitty Taylor on May 4, 1963 in Borger, Texas. The Lord blessed them with over 50 years of marriage. Ivan was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was very adventurous, loved the outdoors and hunting. Ivan enjoyed flying as private pilot, riding motorcycles and four wheelers. He also liked to garden. He supported his family as a co-owner and nursery manager for Sooner Plant Farm. Ivan was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Harley Owners Club. He was a good friend to all and a blessing to his family and friends.
His parents: Homer and Myrtle Fuson, brothers: Raymond Fuson, Vernon Fuson and Larry Fuson preceded him in death.
He is survived and remembered by his wife: Kitty Fuson of the home in Welling, OK, children: Jimmy Fuson and wife LaWanda of Tahlequah, OK, Kathy Chojnacki of Welling, 6 grandchildren: Jeffrey Fuson, Kristin Grayson, Erik Fuson, Scotty Fuson, Nolan Chojnacki, Devin Fuson, 2 great grandchildren: Phoenyx Fuson, Dalton Fuson and one great grandchild on the way, siblings: Marvin Fuson and wife Linda of Tahlequah, Norman Fuson and wife Pam of Stilwell, Debra Scott of Welling, son-in-law: Brian Chojnacki of Park Hill, OK.
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survived Ivan.
Graveside services were held at 10 am on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Bunch Cemetery with Pastor John Lee of the Park Hill Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
