Maxine Welch, daughter of Samuel and Alice (Langley) Welch, was born on March 12, 1923 in Westville, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 5 days.
After working for many years as a Key Punch Operator for British Petroleum in Dallas, Texas, Maxine retired in Siloam Springs. Although she never married or had children, she was a dearly beloved sister and aunt.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Samuel and Alice Welch, sisters: Effie Davis, Pauline Green, Frances Ferguson and Margaret Skinner, brothers: Bill Welch and Woodrow Welch and nephew: Jr. Glory.
She is survived by a loving family that includes her sister: Kate Welch of Tulsa, OK, nephews: Jack Welch and wife LaVonda, Bobby Welch, George Glory and wife Beverly, all of Tulsa, Ronnie Welch and Randy Welch, both of West Siloam Springs, OK, nieces: Rosalinda Smith and husband Mike of West Siloam Springs, Paula DeLeon of Georgetown, TX, Joyce Carrington and husband Don of Tulsa, Jonetta Wakely of Hominy, OK, Cindy McRuiz and husband Vincent of Brookfield, CT, Kay Sowinski and husband Larry of Tulsa.
Funeral services at 10 am on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Roberts & Hart Chapel with Bro. Marvin Loyd officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery.
