Sam Trollinger, son of Calvin Henry and Jo Ann (Adams) Trollinger was born October 12, 1947 in Fayetteville, Arkansas and departed this life on August 6, 2013 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 24 days.

Sam enjoyed all sports but especially football, baseball and golf. He was the #1 Arkansas Razorback fan. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He also enjoyed spending time with family. During his working career he spent time in transportation as a truck driver for many years.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; Gene Trollinger and Allen Trollinger and his 1st wife Jackie Reaves.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Liz Trollinger of the home in Westville, OK, 6 children; Marcus Trollinger and wife Terra of Lowell, AR, Matthew Trollinger and wife Hollie of Lincoln, AR, Laura Parton and husband Garry of Lincoln, AR, Jolene Faddis and husband Jerry of Stilwell, OK, Rhonda Johnson of Westville, OK, Brian Kyle Hitcher of Fayetteville, AR. Brother; Buddy Trollinger of Springdale, AR, 13 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Roberts & Hart Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery.
