Janice Elaine Noblin was born October 26, 1948, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Tom Farmer and Irma Jones. After a courageous battle with cancer, Janice went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 20 days.
She was married to Larry Noblin on January 17, 1969, in Cave Springs, Arkansas. Janice worked as a secretary at Watts Public School for about 14 years. She was a member of Watts Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of OU football.
Her father, Tom Farmer, sister, Karen Sue Kirby and brother-in-law, Bill Kirby, all preceded her in death.
Janice leaves behind a loving family which includes her husband of 41 years, Larry Noblin, of Westville; children, Derrick and Tracy Noblin, of Skiatook, DeAndrea and Mitch Thomas, of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Michael Nickens, of Westville, Chase Noblin and Blair Noblin, of Skiatook, Elisha Thomas, Brody Thomas and Kenadee Thomas, of Locust Grove; mother, Irma Jones, of Siloam Springs, AR; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and J.R. Curtis, of Springdale, AR; brother, Tommy Farmer, of Siloam Springs, AR; nieces, Erin Conway, of Tulsa, Beth Kirby, of Westville and Katie McCormick, of Siloam Springs, AR.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, at the Watts School Gymnasium with Bro. Larry Ellis and Bro. Chip Reagan officiating. Interment will follow at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
